Commission a painting

I am currently accepting commission reservations for 2024.

Whether it’s the soft face of a loved one or a place that took your breath away, I would love to create a custom piece to spruce up your space.

1. Once I receive your commission request, I will email you my availability and set up a free zoom or phone consultation. We will discuss size, palette, subject matter, and timeline.

2. If you decide to go ahead with the commission, I will send a commission agreement form and ask for a 50% deposit. I begin with pencil and watercolour sketches as well as creating a custom palette for your special piece. Once approved, I will begin creating your painting. 

3. Turnaround time is generally 6-12 weeks depending on the size of project, other commissions ahead of yours, and shipping. When the painting is near completed, you can expect a photo of the work for final approval. 

4. After making the finishing touches, the artwork is varnished and carefully packaged before making its way to you! (please note, oil paintings are left for a few weeks to dry before varnishing and shipping).
